Dear Tom & Staff:
Just a note to let you know how thoroughly we enjoyed our recent
week at Scott Lake Lodge. It has become as special a place to us as
it has to you and we look forward to it every year. This year two of
our sons were able to join me and that made it especially rewarding
for me. I also discovered this year how much our trips to your
Lodge meant to them and some of the reasons why. Robert said
that he felt like he was among friends when he was at Scott. He
felt welcomed and comfortable, not only by the guides with whom
he has fished for five years but also with others he has come to
know and new friends as well. In short, you have warm people on
the island who create a very inviting environment. For my part, I
relished hearing the good judgment of my sons and watching them
catch many, larger fish than I. Well, not everything can be perfect!

We have been doing outpost camps in Canada for
the past 28 years and this one was tops. Caught a

The scenery was spectacular - absolutely unspoiled.
Lots of bald eagles, loons and mergansers. Despite
covering many
miles of shoreline
in several
lakes, we never
saw anything
that didn’t belong
there-not
even a scrap
of paper or a
cigarette butt.

All of the
memories of
the trip were
in the forefront
of my
mind. I can
not tell you
how many
fish I caught, even
though I tried to keep track each

many satisfying experiences. The fish I caught
were large and feisty and challenging. Again, the
journey was so fulfilling that any fishing success
